It's the ultimate twist on Taco Tuesday and the whole family will go wild for these! Juicy beef, melty cheese, tangy pickles, and that signature burger sauce… all wrapped up in a warm tortilla.

8slicesAmerican Cheese
2cupsIceberg Lettuce - finely shredded
¼cupDill Pickles/Gherkins - sliced
¼cupOnion - finely diced
For the Easy Big Mac Sauce:
1cupMayonnaise
1tbspSweet Pickle Relish
2tspWhite Vinegar
2tspYellow Mustard
1tspTomato Ketchup
Sea Salt - to taste
Instructions
Make the Big Mac Sauce
Mix together all the sauce ingredients until smooth. Set aside or refrigerate.
Prepare the Smash Tacos
In a medium bowl mix the ground beef with salt and pepper and divide into 8 equal portions.
Spread the beef over each individual tortilla, taking the meat right to the edges. Season again with a little salt.
Heat a large, heavy based skillet over a medium heat and wipe the pan around with a small amount of olive oil on a piece of kitchen paper.
Carefully place the tortilla meat side down in the skillet. Sear for 2–3 minutes, depending on how done you like your burger.
Flip the tortilla and place a slice of cheese on top. Cook for a further 30 seconds until the cheese starts to get melty and the taco is toasty.
Remove from the heat and reserve on a plate or tray and repeat with the remaining tortillas. To keep warm either tent with foil or cover and place the burger tortillas. in a warm oven at 200ºF/100ºC
Serve the Tacos
Pile on lettuce, pickles and onion then top generously with the big mac sauce.
Gently fold the tortillas to make tacos and enjoy.
